What is truO2?
truO2 is a natural supplement for healthy people engaging in any physical activity which causes them to become winded or out of breath. truO2 is available in two sizes, a light weight aerosol starter size, and a large capacity high pressure canister. Both products contain 95% pure oxygen and a 5% combination of nitrogen and air (oxygen enriched air).

When is it appropriate to use truO2?
truO2 can be used before, during or after almost any physical activity that would cause someone to become winded or out of breath. Uses may include: hiking, biking, jogging, running, skiing, spinning, fitness training, weightlifting, yoga, Pilates, business stress, travel or any activity that raises the heart rate. It is also beneficial for use when one's body is stressed or jet lagged.

How do you know when your blood oxygen level is depleted?
When one engages in physical activity, oxygen is depleted from the lungs and bloodstream.The harder one exerts energy, the faster the blood oxygen level becomes depleted.  This results in the body experiencing fatigue, which can only be remedied by restoring the appropriate blood oxygen level to the body.

What is the difference between the Starter Size canister and the High Pressure canister of truO2?
The Starter Size canister is made of extremely light weight aluminum for users who do not want to carry additional weight during their workout. The larger capacity product, the High Pressure canister, weighs close to one pound and is also made of aluminum. The Starter Size canister of truO2 contains approximately 2.5 liters which provides the user with 15 inhalations. The High Pressure canister contains approximately 20 liters which provides 75+ inhalations. We recommend 3 inhalations per recovery with the High Pressure canister and 5 inhalations per recovery with the Starter Size canister. The reason behind the difference in dosage per recovery is that The high Pressure canister provides a greater amount of oxygen enriched air with each button press because of increased flow capability over the Starter Size canister. Three inhalations from the High Pressure canister provides a similar quantity of oxygen enriched air compared to five inhalations from the Starter Size. With a recommended dose of 5 inhalations per recovery, the Starter Size provides 3+ recoveries and the High Pressure canister provides 25+ recoveries.

Is truO2 recyclable?
Yes! Second Wind O2 provides an environmentally responsible recycling/rebate program for all of the high pressure canisters, compensating users for their empty canisters. If interested, a user can return the empty canister to the place of purchase, and receive $1 or a credit of $1 on the next purchase. If the product was purchased directly from our website, secondwindO2.com, then the user will receive $1 credit and free shipping on the replacement product. The starter size is recyclable aluminum, but there is no rebate program that applies.

How do you know that the contents in truO2 are clean and pure?
All truO2 is produced and filled in the U.S.A. All canisters are sanitized before filling. All contents are documented pure with certificate of analysis on file with the company for each lot of truO2 produced.

Are there any medical claims that relate to the benefits of truO2?
No. Second Wind O2 makes no medical claims whatsoever about the benefits of truO2. Any claims made by the company about the benefits of the product have not been evaluated or approved by the FDA (Food and Drug Administration). truO2 is not a medication or drug intended to treat or cure any medical condition or medical problem.
