truO2 Launches Exciting New Line of Personal Oxygen Products

Second Wind O2 LLC, the Highland Park, Illinois based manufacturer and distributor of truO2 has launched their exciting new line of personal oxygen products.

The company, Second Wind O2, is the latest venture of the successful entrepreneur Jeffrey L. Perlmutter, who previous to this business pioneered the sport and industry of Paintball. His company Pursuit Marketing Inc. (PMI) which was sold in late 2006 to a private equity group in New York, was the world’s leading manufacturer and distributor of paintball game products. Perlmutter, along with then partner David Freeman, are credited with innovating Paintball as a now well known team sport played worldwide by people from all walks of life. Their company, PMI, was started in Evanston, IL in 1982 and grew to become the leader in an industry they created. At its peak, PMI had annual sales in excess of $85 million with eight facilities worldwide, including a paintball manufacturing plant in Florida, capable of producing over 3 billion paintballs annually.

Similar to creating a new sport and market for products that previously did not exist, Perlmutter, the President and CEO of Second Wind O2 along with son Adam have just launched truO2, a revolutionary new product category of portable personal oxygen for healthy people. Their primary product is a small recyclable aluminum high pressure canister that holds 20 liters of oxygen enriched air, which is more than 95% pure medical grade oxygen and the balance nitrogen and ambient air, with a certificate of analysis on file for every lot of product produced, to prove the purity of the contents. The truO2 high pressure canister holds enough for 70 to 100 inhalations. Also offered by SecondWind O2 is their Starter Size canister which is small, lightweight and intended to be carried by the user for jogging, running or cycling. This product contains 3.6 liters of oxygen enriched air at the same percentages as the larger product and provides 25 to 30 inhalations. truO2 is a great natural supplement for an active person to use before, during or after almost any activity where the user would become winded or out of breath. Typically 3 normal sized breaths of the product would provide a recovery to the user from the winded or out of breath feeling, providing a "second wind".
